Mila Kunis is putting to rest rumors that she will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When host James Corden asked her during Wednesday’s episode The Late Late Show if she will play susan storm in the upcoming The Fantastic Four movie, on That 70’s Show the actress replied: “Obviously if you go to lunch with someone who’s also in the industry, then you start working together, according to the internet.
After going to a deli one day with director Matt Shakman, she explained, “The next day I was kind of in The Fantastic Four.”

The new The Fantastic Four the film, which has a February 14, 2025 release date, is set to begin Phase 6 of its storytelling universe. Last month, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Josh Friedman, who worked on Avatar: The Way of Water, was tapped as the new screenwriter for the Shakman-directed film. Prior to Friedman’s hiring, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer were the previous writers on the project.
