According to to PlayStation Blog posted on May 30, just like on the PS5, “The PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart features ray-tracing reflections’ in addition to ‘newly added ray-tracing shadows for natural outdoor light’. It will be modded to the highest geek standards, said Julian Huijbregts, online community specialist at Dutch developer Nixxes Software, which is working with Insomniac Games on the port.

Along with improved ray tracing, Rift Apart the port will support up to 48:9 resolutions and feature “gameplay and cutscenes […] optimized for ultrawide screens,” said Huijbregts. For graphics upgrades, players will be able to choose from NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS, and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection. Lactivity-enhancing NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA DLAA, which increases image quality truly almighty GPUswill also be supported.

Otherwise, the game it will have what you expect from all PC ports – full, customizable mouse and keyboard support and DualSense controller compatibility.

Personally I think Rift Apart is a wacky, surprisingly beautiful game, and I really hope it translates well to PC. Similarly, in a my city reviewwriter John Walker said this Rift Apart is “mind-blowingly mind-boggling.”

“With a dearth of next-gen releases and a focus on rendering dark-dark frowning human faces, seeing what the PS5 is capable of here is a revelation,” he says. The voice acting “is great, giving this the usual Ratchet & Clank big budget feel and the gags are good.” plus, there is a girl in it. This is the game of a generation.
