I scrolled through my TikTok ( social media apps governments like to ban), enjoying the usual Elder Ring memes when I came across a new mod that allows you to call and jet jump and tanks to blur the fools in The Lands Between. This mod pack is messed up and I couldn’t stop laughing.

In fact, this is also the name of: Elder Ring Broken AF edition is the latest addition from Garden of Eyes, a growing group of modders that focuses on creating new content for Elder Ring. The team has already created some interesting mods for FromSoft’s latest kill-you-nonstop action RPG, such as allowing you to watch boss fights, turning the legendary character Let Me Solo Her into spiritual ashesand adding flying brooms. The band’s biggest venture, first announced last August, is full renovation with a “fully functional” weapon parry à la Bloodborne, additional horse skins for Torrent, tons of new weapons and much more. While this development is still ongoing, Garden of Eyes has been quietly working on the modded Broken AF Edition pack, which appeared on March 28th. The results are amazing.
Elder Ring it’s not hard when you’re in a tank
You might think I’m joking, but it’s not a joke. When you blow the whistle to summon a Torrent in Broken AF Edition, your Tarnished will actually jump into either a fighter or an armored tank to blast thugs to pieces. Vehicles come with several world-destroying weapons, such as bomb strikes, machine guns, nukes, and heat-seeking missiles. The best part? Shooting uses up almost no FP, the game’s stamina metric, so you can literally run endlessly.
As you can see in the video above, Garden of Eyes turned multiple enemies into swiss cheese, while also making short work of a handful of other bosses. Are you struggling with Malenia, Blade of Miquella, or Starscourge Radahn, two of The Lands Between’s most notorious goons? Not the Garden of Eyes, as they simply bombed both into oblivion before moving away for more kills. Even Dragonlord Placidusax and the Fire Giant couldn’t keep up with the explosive barrage and quickly succumbed to the hail of gunfire and missiles.
The mod pack was inspired by a YouTuber
Garden of Eyes’ Broken AF Edition Mod Pack is actually inspired by a separate mod found by a YouTuber. Skumnut (who previously streamed on Twitch getting a permanent ban) describes himself as “stupid Souls man.” He played all the popular Soulslikes, from Bloodborne to Dark souls to Elder Ring, with his videos regularly garnering over 100,000 views. in Uploaded on March 21Skumnut revealed that he came across a “fully functional” tank Elder Ring earlier this year. Unfortunately, the mod creator only posted it on the Chinese social media platform bilibili and apparently had no intention of releasing it globally. So, Skumnut hit Garden of Eyes on Discord to create something you’ve “never seen before” in Elder Ring before.
Skimmed customs my city via DM on Twitter that he was “super excited” to get his hands on the mod after the “fantastic job” done by the Garden of Eyes team. While he provided the ideas, Skumnut gave full props to Garden of Eyes for going “above and beyond” with the Broken AF Edition. He also called out all the moderators who contribute to the longevity of the game.
“Having worked with Garden of Eyes, I already know the potential of modding [in] Elden Ring,” said Skumnut. “There are so many possibilities when it comes to modding this game, and I’d love to see more crazy stupid mods like this in the future. Ones that no one would expect to see Elder Ring.”
