Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night to cries of “No more kings, no more queens, no more seeking mages!”? If so, The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story aims to satisfy that sudden midnight urge to violently alter the political landscape of a fantasy realm. Hey, it’s a lot easier than overthrowing capitalism.

If you are included in the world of lol and her expanding media empire, then you knew Stomach finder was coming Like revealed in JanuarySouth Korea’s Game Evaluation and Administration Committee let the magic cat out of the fantasy bag with a hastily removed list that mentioned Stomach finder as an upcoming action game featuring the champion Silasa dude who’s tired of everything mage hunters mage killers business. Today, Riot Forge officially revealed the game via a new trailer titled “The Year Ahead.” It also started the official site, which is sparse on details beyond the “coming soon for PC and console 2023” statement for now. Watch the trailer here:

Stomach finder will come courtesy of Digital Sun. This name may sound familiar to you as this is the team that brought us here Moonlightcute little RPG,
which balances shopping and dungeon crawling. From what little we can see in this new trailer, it looks like Digital Sun’s talent for pixel art will be put to good use. It has that lovely modern retro look that I always feel like I need more of in my life loldistinctive art style of.

Described as a “gritty action RPG” in the trailer’s description, we don’t know much other than the release window, the main character, and the setting: the stormy city of Demacia. Seen only through stylized shards of glass in the trailer, the action looks bright, colorful and fast. Also, unlike Moonlighter, it looks like you can move diagonally, thank goodness. Having only four directions of movement is like playing a Resident Evil a game where you can’t move while aiming is not something I can put up with for long.

No release date other than the always helpful “Spring 2023” banner in the trailer. The trailer also shows glimpses of other upcoming projects including Song by Nunuaction-adventure game from Tequila Works (Rome, Deadlight), starring Nunu and his riding yeti Willump, due this fall; and ConvergenceDouble Stallion Games’ (Speed Brawl) platformer with vivid battles and signature lol art styles scheduled to arrive this summer.
